PRINT-READY ARTWORK
We classify Print-Ready artwork as high quality, clean artwork designed for the
intended shape or label, sized or proportioned to your specifications. Critical
colors must be specified and included in the artwork file. Critical Colors also
need to be colors specified out of the Pantone® Solid Coated Color Swatch Book.
Quality artwork is artwork in a vector format, or a raster art of 300ppi or greater
with no lossy compression. Quality artwork generally does NOT include artwork taken
from a website, artwork that has been faxed, or artwork that has been scanned.
Clean artwork is artwork without compression artifacts caused by compressing raster
art in a lossy compression file format (.jpg). Clean artwork does not have blemishes
or flaws generally caused by scanning or faxing artwork. Clean artwork should have
all fonts or text flattened or converted to curves in a vector file and outlines
should be expanded so width changes do not occur when converting or scaling.
Artwork that is not print ready will either not be usable by us, or will require
an artist to make the artwork print-ready which may incur an artwork fee.
